Southam Design is an Ottawa based design firm with over 30 years of interior design experience. We have worked on over 500 interior design and architectural projects of various sizes in both the commercial and residential sector of design.

Our goal and vision at SDI when approaching the design of any design space, be it residential architecture and interiors, corporate, clinical, retail and high end retirement homes, is to strive to create a streamlined and inviting, comfortable, modern yet elegant space. We firmly believe with great passion that beautiful space has a profound effect on people’s overall well being.
CORPORATE PROFILE
Southam Design Inc was founded by Registered Interior Designer, Penny Southam ARIDO, IDC in 1992. Since then Southam Design Inc has designed several corporate offices, hair salons and spas, dental clinics, custom homes and retirement communities. Southam Design Inc, has won over 35 Interior Design and Architecture awards, has been featured in several magazines across the country as well as the Ottawa Citizen. Penny Southam, the founder and principal designer at SDI, has been interviewed on CTV, Global and several radio stations nationwide.
We have a great passion for high quality design always striving for excellence with every project we undertake. It is critical that the needs and requirements be clearly understood and met while at the same time maintaining a high level of aesthetic design. It is proven that beautiful surroundings lift our spirits as a whole.
