I started Southam Design Inc in 1992, shortly after moving to Ottawa, Ont. Over the last 30 years, I grew my firm and earned a strong reputation for excellent design. I am a registered interior designer and a member of ARIDO, IDC, GOHBA and IES.  We’ve won over 35 awards, including Forty Under 40 in 2005.

On television, I was one of the ‘design professors’ who put our ‘students’ through their paces on HGTV’s “Design U” and later co-starred on Gemini Nominated,  “All For Nothing” which aired on the W Network and OWN.

I am a huge believer in following your passion, loving your work.  Creating beautiful space is not work… It’s play and I am very thankful to have wonderful clients and that I get to do this everyday!
