Custom Kitchens Under 179 sq. ft.
Our Clients wanted a sleek, contemporary, clean lined kitchen that would leave a lasting impression. Accustomed to living in a Toronto loft, we needed to transform their 60’s split Bungalow into a flexible space with room to entertain, or just to contemplate.
The design needed to be unconventional yet functional.
The transformation started by removing the partition between the dining room and kitchen and adding a new window with drywall returns – the cabinetry would frame the window.
We combined a cream mat lacquer, flat panel door with custom walnut accents to create a unique, funky space with an understated attitude.
All design elements, unconventional or standard, when combined, create a strong design statement. From stainless steel hardware to the asymmetrical door design of the wall cabinets framing the stainless steel hood, not to mention the outstanding 4” thick square edged walnut accents – these components help to define the geometry of the kitchen.
A design that is asymmetrical in nature while creating a perfect balance.
