bathroom_smithOur clients existing master bathroom was dated, non-functional and cluttered.  Their existing closet, originally part of the bathroom was also a poor use of space.  Our goal: create a contemporary yet serene, soothing environment where our clients could start and finish their hectic, long days.
First and foremost, we needed to separate the closet area from the master bath as it was very important to remove the clutter: storage was key.
As is the approach with all of our design work, great emphasis is placed on detail.  Layering the separate elements of the vanity, tub deck, mirror and tile adds to the visual interest of the space.
The selection of materials adds to the warmth and serenity of this washroom: from cherry cabinets, multi-sized earth toned tile, and square edged corian counters; they all come together to create an interesting, visually calming space.
Adding to the visual interest and unification of the overall design are the chrome cylindrical accents repeated in the faucets, vanity task lighting, shower enclosure and accessories.
As a final touch, hand made, jewelry like hardware was specified; adding to the understated elegance.
